Alaya Furniturewalla is a Bollywood actress known by her stage name Alaya F. She may only have one film under her belt, but she has already made a name for herself in the industry. She debut in the industry with Jawaani Jaaneman alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu.
Alaya F recently sat down with Bollywood Hungama for an exclusive interview and chatted candidly about several topics ranging from light-hearted rapid-fire questions to serious issues like feminism. When the young actress was asked about a social cause she would like to dedicate her life to, she replied, “I think it would be anything to do with women’s rights.”
She went on to talk about her idea of feminism and stated, “I think feminism is a very misunderstood concept in the first place. I feel like a lot of people assume that feminism is about making women better than men and higher than men but it’s more about just making an equal playing field.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alaya F is now filming for Ekta Kapoor's Freddy, in which she will co-star with Kartik Aaryan. This romantic thriller is reported to have many surprising twists and turns. The film's protagonists are set to take viewers on a dark and frightening roller-coaster ride that blurs the lines between love and obsession. She will also appear in the film U-Turn, which is directed by Anurag Kashyap.
