Popular TV actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has had quite an interesting year. He along with his wife, Vinny Arora, welcomed their firstborn recently and named him Zayn Dhoopar. A while ago, Dheeraj also participated in the popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Though he had to quit the show owing to his health, he made a comeback on the screen with Sherdil Shergill. While his character in the show has managed to garner love from the audience, the actor himself is a big fan of Cillian Murphy’s Thomas Shelby from the Peaky Blinders.
Speaking of the same, the actor told Bollywood Hungama, “I recently visited London and during my stay, I visited the old streets of London. I’ve always been a huge fan of the show Peaky Blinders and especially of the character Tommy Shelby. My visit to London made me come across the idea of this reel as London was once known as the underworld. If ever there is a remake of this show in India, I would like to star in it as Tommy Shelby.”
On the other hand, the 38-year-old actor recently shared a video on his social media handle, in which he can be seen channelling his love for the British drama series. He opted for Thomas Shelby’s look and posed for the camera. The video has managed to garner love and appreciation from his fans and followers.

Instagramming the video post, Dheeraj wrote, “If you know, you know.” Reacting to the same, his wife Vinny quipped, “Yes we know your love for Thomas Shelby,” in the comments section. Meanwhile, his followers flooded the comments section with fire and red-heart emoticons.
