EXCLUSIVE: Anushka Sen opens up about handling fame at a very young age: “There are circumstances to some things”

Anushka Sen talks about the responsibility that comes with fame and handling it since a very young age.

Anushka Sen recently spoke about handling and understanding fame and the responsibilities that come with it. She gave credit to her parents who taught her that she needs to be mindful of the kind of person she is.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama while talking about how she was able to manage the attention and popularity around her and if it’s different for her after her web series Dil Dosti Dilemma, Anushka said, “Absolutely, I think like you said that I have now become part of conversation now more than ever and I am really glad because as an actor that’s what you really want for people to know; what you’re doing and what your aim is. Talking about my show Dil Dosti Dilemma has done so well that everybody is talking about it and that’s a win, so I am really happy.”

When asked how she was able to handle it at a very young age and realise the responsibilities that come with fame, Anushka expressed how her parents made her aware of what was happening around her and the fact that she has followers that are real people. “ I think I realised this a long back thankfully because of my parents because they have been those people in my life wo have always made me aware of what is happening around me because when you are a child, you are so vulnerable and you are so like overwhelmed basically because there are so many new things that are happening that you didn’t expect and at that age everything is so like you feel everything is so different and so new and most of the things is exciting you.”

She further added, “But talking about responsibility and the seriousness of the job, I think it’s because of my parents that they were like you know this is your responsibility now and now if you choose to do this you also have to understand there are circumstances to some things and the fact that they are followers its not only a number but they are real people so you have the responsibility of you know having this influence.”

“It comes naturally to me I feel the responsibility factor because not only as a public figure but as a human being it’s kind of your responsibility to just be nice and kind and I think that goes hand in hand,” said Anushka.

Anushka was recently seen in the web series Dil Dosti Dilemma and will soon be making her debut in the Korean industry with her upcoming international film Asia for which the actress is currently shooting in Bangkok.
