In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Alia Bhatt talked about her experience working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as an actor in the film Gangubai Kathiawadi. When the host asked her to shed some light on the ordeal, the Highway actress said “I don't think I can describe how it has changed me. It has changed me as a person and as an actor and I don't think I will be the same person ever again”
Taking pride in her journey, Alia Bhat also added that she has no interest in being her old self again since she enjoys being this new person. Alia Bhatt is all set to release her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiyawadi. Currently, the actress is busy promoting her forthcoming film which netizens are very excited about.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is slated to release on 25 February. The film was officially announced in September 2019. Principal photography began in Mumbai on 27 December 2019. The film marks the Bollywood debut of television personality Shantanu Maheshwari, who portrays Gangubai's boyfriend Ramnik Lal.
