Abhay Deol is currently gearing up for the release of his film Jungle Cry. During the promotions of the film, Abhay Deol spoke to Bollywood Hungama and played a fun rapid-fire round. When asked if he had to form a rugby team from Bollywood, which three actors would be a part of it. Without taking any time, he promptly said, "Me, Farhan (Akhtar), and Hrithik (Roshan)". Further, when asked what a game of rugby teaches an individual, he said, "plotting and scheming”.

Abhay Deol had shared screen with Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan in the hit film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). The film directed by Zoya Akhtar narrated the story of three childhood best friends who take a trip to Spain and rediscover themselves and their bond.
Directed by Sagar Ballary of Bheja Fry fame, the film is based on the true story of 12 underprivileged and orphaned children from Odisha's Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS) who went on to win the prestigious U14 Rugby World cup in England in 2007. Abhay plays the role of real-life rugby coach Rudraksha Jena.
Meanwhile, Jungle Cry also stars Stewart Wright, Emil Shah, and Atul Kumar. The film will be released on Lionsgate Play on June 3.
