This year, the Cannes Film Festival witnessed an unparalleled surge of magnificence and allure, courtesy of Bollywood star Esha Gupta's sensational entrance. As she graced the red carpet, Esha captivated the global audience with her grace, sophistication, and remarkable allure. The actress donned a pastel flowing dress with a highly daring thigh-high slit, a mesh neckline, and 3D flowers embroidered on it. However, in a recent interview, Esha shared that it was a “risky” outfit to carry.

During a conversation with News 18, Esha Gupta discussed her scintillating entrance on the Cannes red carpet, as well as her stunning ensemble that created a buzz across the internet. She said, “The response [to my outfit] has been amazing. I didn’t expect that. I didn’t expect to be one of the best-dressed, and I had people calling me from all over the world – including my manager from LA (Los Angeles) and my stylist – and telling me that I look the best and that my look was so elegant. It was a risk. When we were doing this Nicholas Jebran gown, we knew that it was sexy, but it was also a conscious thought to make it look angelic. If you see the gown, it is white and has 3D flowers and its flowy [silhouette] make it dreamy. I’ve to give credit to my stylist, Victor Blanco.”

Esha Gupta subsequently expressed her apprehension regarding her appearance on the Cannes red carpet, acknowledging her feelings of nervousness. “It was surreal. I was so nervous even though I had my team and Victor, who’s my person, with me. My stomach was upset. I wasn’t just representing ‘Esha Gupta’, but since I went with the official delegation, I was representing Indian cinema. I was stressed out and hoping that nothing goes wrong on the red carpet.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha Gupta has a line-up of exciting movies in the pipeline. First on the list is Hera Pheri 3, a highly anticipated comedy film that serves as a sequel to the Hera Pheri series. Additionally, she is expected to star in Desi Magic, a romantic comedy helmed by director Mehul Atha. The actress will be sharing the screen with Ameesha Patel and Zayed Khan.
