Ed Sheeran dances on ‘Badri Ki Dulhania’; parties with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Farah Khan and others!

After Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Justin Beiber and The Chainsmokers, it was British sensation Ed Sheeran's turn to serenade the crowd of Mumbai with his amazing vocals. The much awaited concert took place last night in Mumbai as the 'Shape of You' singer enthralled the audience. But, before that, Bollywood gave him a grand welcome at Farah Khan's residence.

Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan threw a grand welcome party for Ed Sheeran and it was a star studded affair. Farah shared the first selfie of the night with a cute photo with the singer and wrote, "And the party begins!! He loves the shape of me!!"

At the party, Shah Rukh Khan was one of the guests seen hanging out with Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar. Sharing the picture, Katrina simply captioned picture with lots of hearts and a unicorn.

Katrina Kaif shared another picture as her Instagram story in which she was seen with Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and hostess Farah Khan. She simply wrote, "Love u Mummyyyyyyy."

Malaika Arora was also present at the party as she shared a lovely snap with Farah and Ed Sheeran. She wrote, "He loves the shape of us ...... the absolutely adorable #edsheeran n the hostess herself @farahkhankunder."

In another group shot, Ed Sheeran was seen a playful mood with his crew mates, Farah, Malaika and others. She captioned it, "Thank u @farahkhankunder for a lovely nite .... #edsheeran @vahbizmehta @delnazd."

Farah Khan also shared a lovely photo with Shah Rukh Khan and wrote, "The highlight of the party @iamsrk n me taking any chance to kiss him! Lov u my handsome friend."

Farah Khan also shared a selfie with much-in-love couple Mira Rajput and Shahid Kapoor who came together to enjoy the night. She wrote, "Sweetest couple @shahidkapoor n @mira.kapoor .. thank you for being such sports."

The new kids on the block, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter, also made it to the party. Farah shared a selfie with Dhadak stars and captioned the image as, "The #Dhadak couple @jahnavi_kapoor n Ishaan.. lov this pic.. so warm.. #edsheeran #aboutlastnight."

Farah Khan's triplets Czar, Anya and Diva could not attend the party but that did not stop Ed Sheeran from meeting them. He met the kids in their bedroom who were delighted to meet him. Farah captioned the picture, "Just the sweetest guy ever!! If my kids could not go to the party the party came to them. thank u #edsheeran they were thrilled."

Bhumi Pednekar also shared a moment with Ed Sheeran and wrote, "Oh yah!!! @teddysphotos. Thank you @farahkhankunder for an amaze amaze evening.You’re just the best #fangirlmoment #edsheeran."

Neha Dhupia was one of the first ones to share a selfie with the international sensation. She captioned the image, "A world famous musician stuck with a dissatisfied selfie clicker ... thank you @teddysphotos for ur music , and more importantly for ur patience! #fangirl thank you @farahkhankunder for such a fun evening!"

Athiya Shetty, too, shared a picture with the 'Perfect' singer via her Instagram story. She captioned it, "This guy tho. Thank you @farahkhankunder."

Mouni Roy, who will soon be making her Bollywood debut, wrote lyrics of 'Thinking Out Loud' as her caption. She captioned a lovely image with Ed, "@teddysphotos Thank you @farahkhankunder maam for the adorable wonderful night. Loveee you."

Pooja Hegde also met her favourite musician and wrote, "When you meet one of your FAVOURITE musicians, it’s time to freeze the moment @teddysphotos ty for being so kind! #Genius @farahkhankunder ty for having me there...You are just." She also attended his concert last night at Reliance Jio Garden in Mumbai.

Athiya Shetty also reunited with her Mubarakan co-star Ileana D'cruz at the party as they made goofy faces for a picture.

While there were many photographs doing the rounds of social media, two videos surfaced on the internet which were, perhaps, the best ones. In one of the videos, Ed Sheeran is dancing to the popular track 'Badri Ki Dulhania' along with host Farah Khan, Maniesh Paul and TV actor Nakuul Mehta. Farah was seen teaching some desi moves to the international star as he picked the moves real quick. In another video, Farah Khan and Ed Sheeran were seen dancing to 'Sweety Tera Drama' from Bareilly Ki Barfi.
