The first-look at the characters in costume from Paramount's live-action film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was recently revealed at San Diego Comic Con 2022. The studio showcased the film's cast in costume, including Chris Pine, Sophia Lillis, Justice Smith, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, and Bridgerton breakout star Regé-Jean Page.

As Screen Rant notes, not much is known about the characters that each Dungeons & Dragons cast member will be playing. However, these costumes give a potential glimpse at what D&D archetypes each character will inhabit. For instance, it seems that Pine's character may be a bard, considering he is depicted playing a lute as if it's an electric guitar.

Rodriguez is likely playing a warrior and it seems that Page may be playing a rogue, given his smaller, more agile weapon. Lillis and Smith's characters will be the ones to bring the magic, while Grant's character seems to be a sagacious professorial type.

Written and directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, Dungeons & Dungeons is currently scheduled to be released in US cinemas on March 3, 2023.
