The countdown for the release of Drishyam 2 has started. As the release is around the corner, fans can’t wait to see what happened with Vijay Salgaonkar (played by Ajay Devgn) and his family as the murder case of Sameer Deshmukh reopned. What happened on October 2? This question left everyone puzzled, including CID squad members ACP Pradhyuman, Daya and Abhijeet.

Interestingly, on Saturday, Ajay Devgn took to his social media handle and shared a video, in which the ACP squad can be seen interrogating Drishyam’s Vijay Salgoankar. The trio can be seen recreating their iconic style of questioning their suspect. Meanwhile, staying in the skin of his character, Ajay answers all their questions calmly.

Captioning the post, Devgn wrote, “Kitna bhi interrogate karlo ACP Squad, koi saboot nahi milne wala (No matter how much you interrogate ACP Squad, you won't find any proof).” The video has managed to grab the attention of netizens. While a user wrote, "Love the marketing strategy”, another requested, “Please bring back CID”. The comments section was flooded with laughing emoticons.

For the unversed, the Drishyam series starring Ajay Devgn is the Hindi adaptation of Mohanlal's Malayalam hit of the same name. In the upcoming movie, Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta will reprise their respective characters while Akshaye Khanna will be introduced as a new cop.

Speaking on his reunion with Akshaye Khanna at a press conference in Goa Ajay said, “Casting I think Abhishek decided but it is always fun. We share a great rapport also. It is always great to work with a good actor because good actors bring out the best in you also. We needed somebody like. So yes, it's really great!”

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 is slated to release on November 18.
