Dimple Kapadia’s nephew Karan’s debut film goes on floor and Dimple Kapadia claps for the mahurat shot

For the past few days, Dimple Kapadia’s nephew Karan Kapadia is constantly in news owing to his debut, to be directed by Behzad Khambata. While several details of the film have already been locked, the film has now flagged off in Mumbai a day ago.

The untitled venture, to be co-produced by filmmaker Tony D’Souza, went on floors on January 5 in the city. The mahurat shot saw the entire cast and crew in attendance and what grabbed even more attention was the presence of Dimple Kapadia. The veteran actress was invited to give a clap for the very first shot of the film in question.

Karan Kapadia had earlier stated that he shares a great rapport with aunt Dimple Kapadia, who is a mother figure to him after the demise of his mother Simple Kapadia. From what we hear, Dimple who too dotes on Karan was seen having a long chat with her nephew as well as the director of the film Behzad. Interestingly, the film will also mark the directorial debut of Behzad who has worked as assistant director for films like Azhar and Boss.

On the other hand, it was reported that Karan had undergone extensive training for his debut venture. Karan has learnt to ride a horse and bike, and has been swimming too. He has even got martial arts training for six months in Bangkok.

Produced by Tony D’Souza along with Shrikant Basi, Nishant Pitti and Vishal Rana, the untitled film is also said to star Sunny Deol in a prominent role. However, the leading lady of the film is yet to be revealed. The action packed entertainer will be extensively shot in Mumbai.
