Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra has turned a year older today, that is December 8. While his fans and peers from the industry have flooded social media with warm wishes, his wife and actress Hema Malini has also penned a sweet note for him on his 87th birthday. Interestingly, Hema took to her verified Twitter handle and shared a tweet along with two adorable photos of the couple.

In the photos, the Bollywood couple can be seen flashing their million-dollar smile while posing for the click. Hema looked beautiful in a pink saree with a floor print. Meanwhile, Dharmendra sported a casual look as he opted for a plain shirt.

Captioning the Tweet, Malini wrote, “Praying for dear Dharam ji’s good health on his birthday today (red heart emoji) Wish him a long and healthy life filled always with happiness and joy! My prayers will be with him today and every day of our lives (praying hands emoji) HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the love of my life (two red heart emojis).”

Shortly after she shared the birthday post, a section of her followers took to the comments section and dropped birthday wishes for Dharmendra.

Among many others, actor Ajay Devgn also wished Dharmendra virtually. In a brief write-up on Twitter, Ajay Devgn wrote, “Dearest Dharamji. Happy birthday Sir. You are my neighbour & my favourite (red-heart emoji) And you continue to rock. Lots of love & warm wishes.”

Meanwhile, Bobby Deol and Karan Deol, Dharmendra’s son and grandson, also shared a joint post, in which the trio can be seen posing for the photo after worshipping. The living legend of Bollywood and our ‘He-Man’, Dharmendra was born in 1935. The Padma Bhushan awardee has delivered a bunch of blockbuster hits including Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Haqeeqat, Guddi, The Burning Train, and Dharam Veer, among others.
