Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi, Ravi Kishan, Upendra Limaye, child actors Riyansh Dabhi and Akshara Padwal, producer Bhushan Kumar and Ashok Thakeria, director Indra Kumar and others attended the trailer launch of their film Dhamaal 4 at an amusement park on the outskirts of Mumbai. A scene shot on a cliff is shown in the trailer and is quite memorable. Arshad and others shared some interesting trivia about this sequence, which was filmed at the hill station of Malshej Ghat in Maharashtra.
Arshad Warsi said, “The scale is going higher with each film in this series. The action sequences are become bigger, more elaborate, funnier and also more dangerous. Watch out for the cliff sequence. Woh kabhi dhyaan se dekhna. It's very dangerous. All thanks to my friend (points at Ajay Devgn).”
Ajay Devgn added, “It’s a live location.” Arshad continued, “Yes, it’s a live location. You might feel it's CG, but it's not. It’s all real.” Jaaved Jaaferi revealed, “We were tied with cables and it was a real hill.”
Indra Kumar said, “Ajay ji was at the very front. Hence, everyone was able to come up safely. Warna koi nahin jaata!” But Ajay pointed at Upendra Limaye and reminded him, “Mere bhi aage yeh bechara tha.” Upendra smiled and simply stated, “I had to do it. Aur koi option hi nahin tha!”
At another point in the event, Ravi Kishan revealed, “I want to thank Ajay sir, in front of everyone. He was standing rock solid during the shoot of all the action scenes of the film. He has also contributed big time in fleshing out my character, Adhoora. Indu sir also helped; but on the set, it was Ajay sir who choreographed me.”
Indra Kumar agreed, “Ajay ji helped me as a director too. In many sequences, he had a major contribution.”
Arshad Warsi stunned audiences as he revealed, “We had gone for a stunt schedule, which was expected to last for 15-20 days. Ajay managed to pull it off in just 5 days.”
Jaaved Jaaferi corrected him, “It was not 5. It was 3 days.” Arshad Warsi then clarified, “We were there for just 3 days in that dangerous position. That’s it.”
Dhamaal 4 releases in cinemas on July 10.
