Actor Deepika Padukone has reportedly cancelled her planned trip to Paris after flight disruptions linked to escalating tensions in the Middle East. The actor was scheduled to attend an event in the French capital as a global ambassador for a luxury brand but had to withdraw after her flight was cancelled at the last minute.
According to reports, Deepika had already begun preparing for the appearance and had finalised her outfits for the event. However, the sudden travel disruptions forced a change of plans. A source revealed that her travel arrangements had been completed before the situation escalated, but the cancellation of flights and the growing uncertainty around international travel led to the decision to skip the event.
The source reportedly said that the actor had been confirmed for the Paris appearance and had even begun fittings. But with several flights getting cancelled in recent days and the conflict affecting multiple countries across West Asia, the team reconsidered whether it was the right time for her to travel. As of now, Deepika’s team has not issued an official statement addressing the cancellation.
On the professional front, Deepika will soon reunite with Shah Rukh Khan in the upcoming film King. The project will also feature Suhana Khan in a leading role. Reports suggest that a major sequence featuring Shah Rukh and Suhana was recently filmed in Mumbai during a grand Vijayadashami celebration setup, with Suhana performing multiple action stunts for the scene.
Apart from King, Deepika is also set to appear in filmmaker Atlee’s upcoming project AA22XA6 alongside Allu Arjun. The film’s official title is expected to be revealed on Allu Arjun’s birthday on April 8, although the makers have not yet made a formal announcement.
While fans were eager to see the actor attend the Paris event, the sudden flight cancellations appear to have forced a last-minute change of plans, highlighting how global tensions can impact even high-profile celebrity schedules.
