Medha Rana who we saw in the recently released London Files with Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli says she couldn't have asked for a better debut. Medha Rana is seen playing the role of a 19-year-old who is born & brought up amongst the privileged in London. She’s the daughter of a media mogul and has grown up in a very protected environment but has always been someone who stands up for what’s right.

Talking about how she prepared for her role, Medha said, "It was quite a ride finding Maya. I think right from the day that I self-taped my audition to the multiple auditions at the office with the director, somewhere in between that I was catching hold of Maya. Maya has a very interesting graph in the show, she internally goes through a rollercoaster of emotions as a realization to seeing the dichotomy of life and how her privilege has always kept her aloof from the world. She sets out on a mission to stand up for the people who need a voice and gets deeply involved in the whole rigmarole only to realize that she was being brainwashed and her father was being framed. The moment the penny drops and the stakes are at the highest, she takes the right call and ends up saving everyone's life and leaving a very important lesson for humanity to stand for what's right and never lose hope. It was a lot of help from my director Sachin Sir and the writer Prateek Payodhi who trusted me with Maya and guided me all along. A big big thank you to them."

Medha will next be seen in a docu drama called Dancing on the Grave, directed by Patrik Graham, which is going to be out on Amazon Prime. It’s based on a real life murder incident- A true crime investigative series that tells the story of a sensational crime with access to exclusive interviews, shocking footage and the perpetrator himself.
