The occasion was the remarkable success of Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, which has soared past the ₹100 crore mark at the global box office, securing its status as a certified hit. To commemorate this achievement, Ekta Kapoor hosted a grand success bash at her Mumbai residence, attended by a constellation of stars. The event witnessed Ayushmann Khurrana, accompanied by his wife, filmmaker Tahira Kashyap, while Ananya Panday was accompanied by her parents, Bhavana and Chunky Panday.

In his latest Instagram post, Chunky Panday shared a nostalgic image featuring himself and Ekta Kapoor. In the snapshot, Chunky donned a suave satin shirt, while Ekta Kapoor exuded effortless charm in her casual grey attire. Captioning the image, Chunky Panday affectionately wrote, “The OG DreamGirl.”

As soon as he shared the picures, followers showered their love in the comments section. Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “What a cute picture,” while a fan commented, “very nice ,panday bhai ji congratulations,,,you too super.”

Dream Girl 2, directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, while Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Seema Pahwa, Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Ranjan Raj, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor appear in prominent roles. The film is arrived in cinemas on August 25, 2023.
