Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar began the shooting of their film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan in Delhi a few months ago. This is the second time the two stars will be starring opposite each other. The last time they starred together in Dum Laga Ke Haisha which was Bhumi Pednekar’s debut film and received critical acclaim.

After shooting in Delhi and Rishikesh for two months, Ayushmann Khurrana informed that their romance drama has come to an end. Ayushmann shared a cast and crew photo after the wrap up and captioned it as, “It's a wrap for #ShubhMangalSaavdhan. What a fantastic potent experience @psbhumi @rs_prasanna @aanandlrai.” Bhumi also shared her excitement and wrote, “A very beautiful experience comes to an end as we wrap #ShubhMangalSaavdhan. Thankyou @ayushmannk @rs_prasanna @cypplOfficial @ErosNow & team.”

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is directed by South film actor and director RS Prasanna. It is said to be inspired from the 2013 Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Sadham. Besides this film, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu this year whereas Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in Toilet- Ek Prem Katha.
