Earlier we had reported that Kangna Ranaut will play the role of a Gujarati girl in the upcoming film Simran. Considering that the actress actually hails from Himachal Pradesh, Kangna has to undergo training in order to learn nuances of a Gujarati.
For the same, Kangna Ranaut recently attended a popular Gujarati play titled ‘Baa Tane Hun Kya Rakhu’ along with the director of her film Hansal Mehta. A light-hearted and unusual play, written by Vinod Sarvaiya and directed by Vipul Mehta, revolves around the life of Mangla Divecha, played by Rohini Hattangadi. Kangna decided to use this opportunity to learn a few things from the play especially certain words of Gujarati. On the other hand, show’s producer Kaustubh Trivedi also revealed that the team of Simran has further expressed their desire to watch more plays to prepare for the film.
Kangna Ranaut will play the role of a bank robber, who gets into this world of crime in order to fulfill her and her family’s wishes. Simran is inspired by a few real life incidents including that of bank robber Sandeep Kaur.
