Be it political issues or social issues or anything trending, Indian dairy cooperative Amul has their versions to talk about it. Ever since they started a photo segment called Amul topical, the brand has interesting takes of the topic.
One is aware of the recent controversy surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s film Padmavati. The filmmaker and team were assaulted by a group of protesters in Rajasthan on the grounds of showing their sacred queen in in negative light. Even Padmavati set was vandalized and all the equipment were broken by the protesters.
Just like all of its other topical adverts, Amul also has a hilarious take on this recent controversy. Sharing a photo, they wrote, “#Amul Topical: Mob fury unleashed on films sets and director!” The topical also has a headline that reads as “Hairani Padmavati?”
Meanwhile, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has confirmed that no such history in the movie has been distorted. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh and is slated to release on November 17.
