Chandu Champion marks Sajid Nadiadwala’s 30th film to be shot in Kashmir 30 : Bollywood News

Sajid Nadiadwala is currently filming for the much-anticipated sports drama Chandu Champion headlined by Kartik Aaryan and directed by filmmaker Kabir Khan. The film has gone on the floors with muhurat shot in London, ahead of which the first look poster of Kartik Aaryan was released that definitely won hearts of fans. While this has raised the excitement for the film, Sajid Nadiadwala is now ready to shoot the next major portion of the film and will be wrapping up a major chunk of the film in the beautiful locales of Kashmir.

However, we hear that Kashmir holds a special place for Sajid Nadiadwala, as this is their 30th production which is going to be shot in Kashmir. A source close to the production said, “Right from the days of Abdul Karim Nadiadwala, who is Sajid Nadiadwala's grandfather, and has produced films like Pathar Ke Sanam in the 1960s, Aa Gale Lag Ja, Rafu Chakkar, Haath Ki Safai, Adalat starring Amitabh Bachchan and Neetu Singh, and many more were shot in Kashmir. Even Sajid Nadiadwala had shot his films like Highway, starring Alia Bhatt; Heropanti, which was also the debut film of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon; Phantom, starring Saif Ali Khan; and the recent Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.”

Considering the same, it seems that Chandu Champion will be the 30th film to be shot in the picturesque locales of the heavenly valley. The film will also mark the first association of Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan, whereas it will be the second one with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film has definitely garnered a lot of anticipation since three major names from the industry will be coming together to bring an interesting real-life story of a sportsperson. While details of the same are kept under wraps, it is being said that Shraddha Kapoor will be seen as the leading lady. Chandu Champion is all set for its grand release in June 2024.
