Ever since it was noted that prominent writer Javed Akhtar has confirmed Shibani Dandekar and Farhan Akhtar’s wedding, netizens can’t resist but talk about the first Bollywood wedding of this year. Earlier there were just assumptions that the duo is planning to marry but according to a media portal last week that quoted Javed Akhtar, that Shibani and Farhan will have a court marriage on February 21. It will be followed by an intimate ceremony that will be attended by their close friends and family at Akhtar’s Khandala home.
While the rehearsals are in full swing, Shibani’s sister Anusha Dandekar took to social media to share a family portrait where the bride can be seen smiling joyfully. The photo also featured their pet pooch. She captioned it as, “The Dandekar’s… ✨(gangsta was busy exploring somewhere, Monster was trying to tell him to get back in the picture hehe)."

She began her career working as a television anchor in American television. Following her return to India, she began hosting several shows in Hindi television and events, besides working as a model and a singer as well.
