Choreographer Bosco Martis recently shared insights into working with Bollywood stars, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Saif Ali Khan. He addressed the misconception that Salman is the opposite of Shah Rukh Khan when it comes to dedication and following instructions.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Bosco revealed that during the filming of the song ‘Maria Maria’ from the movie Partner, Salman Khan insisted on retaking a specific dance move until he perfected it. Bosco asserted, “With Salman bhai, during Partner, we did 27 takes for ‘Maria Maria’. We were in Abu Dhabi, it was 1 in the afternoon, in scorching heat, and we kept going at it over and over again.”

The choreographer further added, “There was one move that he just couldn’t nail. So on the 15th take, I went to him and said ‘okay’, and walked away. He knew that I wasn’t satisfied and that I just wanted to move on. He called me and said, ‘Till the time you don’t get it, don’t say okay. I’ll do it even if it requires 100 takes’.”

Bosco elaborated, explaining that Salman understands the significance of his dance moves to his fans. He said, "His audience celebrates him for his on-screen persona, which includes his signature steps." He also acknowledged Salman's input in creating his signature style, stating, "On 'You're My Love,' we kept it simple. We kept a walk, the attitude, the swag, and it became a style. It's all him."

Bosco further addressed the perception that Salman frequently changes choreographed steps at the last minute, causing problems for dancers. He clarified that while this might happen occasionally, it's usually because the steps don't suit Salman's style or due to time constraints. He also spoke about the various factors at play, considering the actors' hectic schedules and the multiple deliverables involved in filmmaking.

Bosco ultimately avoided comparing Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's dancing abilities, stating they both possess distinct styles and are too good to be compared.
