As 2024 comes to an end, BookMyShow released its throwback report that threw light on the interesting trends of its users when it came to booking tickets on the portal. BookMyShow 2024 throwback report: RECORD 2.3 million tickets sold on Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s release date; 10.8 lakh people saw Pushpa 2 alone; Kalki 2898 AD, Stree 2, Devara, Hanuman, GOAT, Amaran gets MAXIMUM repeat audience1. On November 1, 2024, the day Diwali releases - Singham Againand Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3- arrived in cinemas, BookMyShow sold a record 2.3 million movie tickets. This is the highest number of tickets sold in a single day.
2. Interestingly, 10.8 lakh people saw the biggest of the year’s Pushpa 2 – The Rulesolo, that is, they booked a single ticket and enjoyed the Allu Arjun-starrer without their family members or friends.
3. A certain Gaurav from Bhopal took the cake as he saw Stree 2as many as 29 times!

8. Mumbai residents took the cake as they comprised 21% of the people who tried to book tickets for Coldplay's Ahmedabad gig. In fact, only 14% of Ahmedabad residents tried booking the ticket followed by Bengaluru (13%), Delhi-NCR (11%), Pune (5%), Hyderabad (3%) and Surat (3%).
