The first official trailer for Bones and All starring Timothée Chalamet and Taylor Russell in the former’s reunion with his Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino has finally dropped – and it is wild. Luca Guadagnino's upcoming cannibal love story Bones And All which follows two lost lovers Lee (Timothée Chalamet) and Maren (Taylor Russell) as they navigate first love, lust, and their mutual appetite for consuming human flesh.
“You look like the kind that’s convinced themselves he’s got this under his thumb,” Rylance’s Sully tells cannibal drifter Lee (Chalamet) as he joins Maren (Taylor Russell) on a cross-country odyssey to understand why she has to kill and eat the people that love her.
In one intense scene, Lee is seen breathlessly facing Maren in a field as he asks her, "you don't think I'm a bad person?", to which she effortlessly responds: "all I think is that I love you." In true juxtaposition, the lost lovers, with animal hunting instincts, are then seen dragging a bloody body through a hallway as they hunt for their next prey.
Starring Chalamet and Taylor Russell, Bones And All is based on the book by Camille DeAngelis, with the screenplay adapted by David Kajganich. The cast also includes Chalamet’s former Call Me By Your Name co-star Michael Stuhlbarg, Chloë Sevigny, Mark Rylance, David Gordon-Green, Jessica Harper and Jake Horowitz.
