Bollywood came to a standstill even before the nationwide lockdown was announced. This led to a massive financial stress on several sectors of the entertainment industry. A few days ago, actor Varun Dhawan provided monetary help to as many as 200 dancers by transfering money to their bank accounts.
To express their gratitude, the dancers performed to some of Varun’s hit songs and posted the video on social media. Former background dancer Raj Surani, who now coordinates and manages the team the Bollywood dancers, shared a video of the dancers shaking a leg on Varun's songs.
“BOLLYWOOD DANCERS THANK VARUN DHAWAN WITH PERFORMANCE OF HIS HIT SONGS thankyou @varundvn a small token of thankyou from the whole team of bollywood back ground dancers for the golden heart man,” Surani captioned the video on Instagram.
Varun Dhawan noticed the video and was overwhelmed by the gesture. Sharing the video on Twitter he wrote, “India has the best dancing community in the world and I know we will be back I love u all. Thank you for this.”
