Celebrated filmmaker Yash Chopra gave Indian cinema some of the best romantic movies of all time. A few years ago, he passed away before the release of his last directorial venture, Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Today, Yash Chopra would have celebrated his 84th birthday. On this day, many Bollywood celebrities shared their love with beautiful and heart-warming messages for the late filmmaker.
Ranveer Singh, who had made his debut starring in the Yash Raj Films production Band Baaja Baaraat, shared a photograph posing with Yash Chopra’s statue. He wrote, “The most Befikre one of them all! #Legend BefikreYashChopra.” For the uninitiated, the actor is gearing up for a film, which is directed by Yash Chopra’s son Aditya, titled Befikre.
Anushka Sharma too shared a touching message for the filmmaker with whom she got a chance to work with in his last film, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Sharing a photo, she wrote, “Forever grateful for having worked with Yash ji in such a short span of my career & to have known a great filmmaker & an even greater person.”
