Clearly, Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty's Bigg Boss OTT journey has been an emotional roller-coaster. The performer from Mohabbatein actress was recently offered the chance to read a letter from her family, but there was a catch. Shamita and her co-contestant Raqesh Bapat were both given the opportunity. They had to agree on one person to read the letter and keep them safe this week, while the other would be nominated.

Raqesh and Shamita are good friends, thus this was a difficult decision for them to make. They started crying as they encouraged one other to read the letter. Shamita made a brave move by tearing up her letter and nominating herself to keep Raqesh safe.

Shamita recently posted the video to Instagram with the caption, “‘Her soul is fierce, Her heart is brave, Her mind is strong – RH Sin’ We’re so proud of you. Stay strong girl.” Shamita’s older sister Shilpa was extremely proud of her sacrifice and wrote in the comments section, “Sooooo proud my Tunki @shamitashetty_official ♥️”

As part of the show's Raksha Bandhan celebrations, Shamita received a message from Shilpa a few days earlier. Shilpa spoke about the sisters' relationship in the video.

In addition to Shamita and Raqesh, Moose Jattana, Nishant Bhat, Pratik Sehajpal, Neha Bhasin, Akshara Singh, Millind Gaba, and Divya Agarwal are among the current Bigg Boss OTT contestants.
