Bigg Boss 17: Ankita Lokhande opens up about her breakup with Sushant Singh Rajput to co-contestant Munawar Faruqui 17 : Bollywood News

Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain have been entertaining the audience with their immense drama in the Bigg Boss 17 house. While their relationship has become a talking point, the actress opened up about a past relationship of hers which was much under scrutiny. For the unversed, Ankita was in a relationship with the late Sushant Singh Rajput for over seven years and even shared a great rapport with his family. Although the actress spoke about it, she never really opened up about their camaraderie until recently in the BB House.

In a heartfelt conversation she had with co-contestant, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande revealed about her relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput, wherein she also mentioned that he never really told her the reason behind their breakup. She described their breakup saying, “Wo ek dum raat mein gayab ho gaya. Success mil rahi thi toh log uske kaan bhar rahe the (He disappeared in the night. A lot of people were manipulating him after he received success).”

Ankita Lokhande was in a live-in relationship with Sushant Singh Rajput with the duo also discussing their plans to tie the knot. However, in 2016, the actors announced their breakup leaving their fans shocked. Ankita met Sushant on the sets of their debut show Pavitra Rishta where they essayed the characters of Archana and Manav as they became household names. While Ankita was a part of the show until the end, Sushant had quit the show mid-way to pursue his Bollywood dreams. In 2020, after the actor was found dead in his apartment, Ankita had grieved the loss of the actor and shared heartfelt tributes for him.

In the recent conversation, Ankita also confessed that it took her about two years to move on after the break-up. She later married her long-time friend Vicky Jain in a lavish traditional ceremony in 2021.
