Recently Tina Datta has been in the news for her apparently blossoming friendship with Shalin Bhanot, who expressed his feelings towards Tina to Gautam Vig in one of the past episodes. But before that could go any further, the Uttaran actress has been trending on social media and not for the right reasons. A video of her hugging Abdu Rozik has found its way on social media which has sparked a debate amongst users about ‘sexual harassment’ of the 19-year-old Tajikistan singer.
Not too long ago, Abdu Rozik had expressed his displeasure about how he is being treated as a kid because of his height amongst house inmates despite being a 19-year-old. In the latest video that surfaced online, Tina Datta is seen hugging Abdu without his consent. In fact, the video showcases how the young singer is uncomfortable with the intimacy and even requested her to leave him multiple times. She even went on to kiss him on the cheek.
The video has become viral and netizens are accusing Tina of sexual harassment. Some even went on to ask what if any man would have done this to one of the actress. “Wtf dude. this is sexual harassment. Tina Datta just made an unwanted advance on a fellow contestant and faced no consequence for it. @ColorsTV, what the hell were you people thinking airing this?” commented one of the fans. Yet another dropped another comment saying, “This is seriously unacceptable @BiggBoss this is so shameful!!! If it was opposite side if a 19 year old disabled girl getting these kind of hugs from men then it would have been some sexual abuse.”
Former Bigg Boss contestant VJ Andy too expressed his disappointment over the scene saying, “Absolutely agree- this is now harassment. #TinaDutta leave #AbduRozik alone! If the sexes were exchanged this would’ve become a police case. #BiggBoss16 Please do something?

The video has sparked a debate about how when men are treated like this, it is often found acceptable but when the same happens to a woman, there is a massive hoopla around it.
