Television and film actor Sidharth Shukla had gained immense love from several people owing to his stunt in Bigg Boss 13. In the show, he was often linked with Shehnaaz Gill, who had confessed of sharing a very close bond with the star. As many were rooting for SidNaaz, as they fondly addressed them, their friends were left bereaved with the news of his demise. Paras Chhabra, who spent time with them in the Bigg Boss house, recalled fond memories of the duo and confessed that Gill often reminds him of the late actor and he often wonders about how she deals with it.

Paras Chhabra, who also shared a brief bond with Sidharth Shukla during his time in Bigg Boss 13, opened up about how Shehnaaz Gill is constantly reminded him of the late actor at several occasions. In a podcast with Bhavya Singh, Paras said, "I think, for me, Shehnaaz Gill reminds me of him and I wonder how she'd deal with things as she would also get such comments from others and she'd be reminded of Sidharth Shukla daily.” He further also wondered how the actress managed to deal with such a huge loss. “"I'm told that Shehnaaz was present when Shukla breathed his last and I feel to see someone with whom you connect so deeply in that state would have been very difficult."

Further talking about his own bond with Shukla, Paras revealed about spiritually connecting with him while they were staying together in BB house, and added, "We would sit till late night and early mornings and talk about Mahadev and other spiritual stuff and that's how we connected. This couldn't be shown on Television as they can't show much of religious or political conversations. That's why people often feel that they don't know how Shukla and I connected."

Paras Chhabra also attended the last rites of Sidharth Shukla in Mumbai. The Balika Vadhu actor, who was 40 years old, passed away in 2021 due to cardiac arrest.
