Recently Varun Dhawan and the rest of the team launched the trailer of the creature comedy Bhediya which features the actor in a never-seen-before avatar of a werewolf. Known for his impeccable comic timing, the young actor has been wooing fans with his comic timing. The actor recently attended the trailer launch of the Amar Kaushik directorial and during the same, the actor showcased one of his very interesting talents. At the trailer launch, Varun Dhawan had some interesting anecdotes to share about the film. “Abhishek (Banerjee) and I would do a whole scene like we were Akshay Kumar,” said Varun. Amidst his conversation about how they would often mimic different actors including the megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Sanon chimed in, “Basically they would do comedy off screen so that they didn’t have to do it onscreen.” Further talking like a true fan boy, Varun added, “In case of comedy, it is synonymous with Akshay Kumar. When you think of comedy obviously Akshay Kumar has impacted an entire generation,” he added.

The actor also spoke about his other team members from the film which included Paalin Kabak. The actor revealed a secret about this digital celebrity and how he is a great singer. The latter also hummed a few lines of a song and later also imitated the voice of Kumar Sanu as the crowd cheered her for him for his amazing talent.

Coming to Bhediya, the film is expected to be a part of the horror comedy universe that is created by Dinesh Vijan. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film features Varun Dhawan as a man who turns into a werewolf on full moons. With Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in a supporting role, Kriti Sanon plays the leading lady. It is the third film in this horror comedy universe after the Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree and the Janhvi Kapoor starrer Roohi. It is slated to release on November 25.
