BH Style Icons 2023: Shehnaaz Gill bags the ‘Most Stylish Trailblazer’ award; says, “It feels like I have got an Oscar”

Being the foremost destination for all things entertainment, Bollywood Hungama has kicked off the celebration of 25 years with the maiden edition of Bollywood Hungama Style Icons 2023. The big star-studded affair, held on March 24, honoured the greatest style stalwarts across industries like Bollywood, television, fashion, OTT and many more. Well, among many others, Shehnaaz Gill also took home a BH Style Icons Award for being the ‘Most Stylish Trailblazer’.

Shehnaaz's involvement in a reality show was a representation of her love of traditional feminine attire, and when you add a little glitz to it, Shehnaaz is in the running for a fashion award. Her personality and sense of style both reflect her positive outlook. But Shehnaaz has truly upped her game by displaying to the world her jazzy and stylish aesthetic, which ranges from glam cocktail dresses to formal suited attire. Gill has always maintained that, despite her numerous trendy personas, she remains a true Punjabi girl at heart and that dressing in cultural attire still makes her happy.

Receiving her ‘Most Stylish Trailblazer’ award, Shehnaaz asserted, “Thank you Bollywood Hungama for this honour. It is just the start. I want to grow in fashion as well as acting. So, I dedicate this to my entire team. I feel like I have been honoured with an Oscar. Like how RRR and The Elephant Whisperers have got? I feel the same way.”

Shehnaaz rose to fame due to the reality show Bigg Boss 13 which was hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan. She has featured in several music videos and is now all set to make her Bollywood debut with the Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

Talking about BH Style Icons 2023, it has brought shining stars of the entertainment industry for a night full of fun, glamour and entertainment; Rohit Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Neeti Mohan, Raveena Tandon, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Shreya Saran, to name a few. The maiden edition of the awards presented by Bollywood Hungama, curated and directed by Cinema Waale Film and Television Productions LLP & produced by Across Media Solutions featured a dazzling celebration of glitz, glamour, and entertainment that took place on March 24, 2023 at J W Marriott, Juhu in Mumbai.
