Bollywood Hungama's first-ever BH Style Icons 2023 event, which brought together superstars from all walks of life to celebrate fashion and style, signalled the beginning of a new era in the company's history. At the first edition, numerous celebrities were nominated in more than 25 categories. A number of stunning and stylish actresses were nominated for the ‘Most Stylish Breakthrough Talent (Male)’, but Maniesh Paul won the award by outpacing the competition which was presented by Elli Avraham.

Maniesh Paul, who is well known for his sense of humour, says that his personal sense of fun comes through in his work. Nearly everything has been included into Maniesh's OOTDs, from bling to velvet, colour blocked to print. When it comes to his on-screen appearances, the image is the same.

While accepting the award, Maniesh, who also hosted the first edition of the Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Awards 2023, said, “I feel honoured as I get this award. We work hard to entertain you all. However, sometimes the box office numbers are not impressive, but it is because the audience is not going to the theatre. On the other hand, speaking of style, I don’t think I am stylish. Whatever my stylist gives me, I wear it.”

As for the awards, the maiden edition of the awards presented by Bollywood Hungama, curated and directed by Cinema Waale Film and Television Productions LLP & produced by Across Media Solutions featured a dazzling celebration of glitz, glamour, and entertainment that took place on March 24, 2023 at J W Marriott, Juhu in Mumbai.

The awards were Sponsored by Macho Hint, TVS Raider, IKONIC Professional, Looks Salon, Senco Gold & Diamonds, HCG Oncology, Carrera, Club Mahindra, AstroYogi, Sonata Watches, Radio City, Fuji Instax, and JW Marriott.
