Bekaboo star Eisha Singh on choosing films over television, “I’ve never said that I only want to do films or OTT or television” : Bollywood News

Eisha Singh, who's currently seen as Bela in the super natural fantasy show Bekaboo, co-starring Shalin Bhanot and Monalisa, is garnering a lot of praises for her role as a ‘Pari’ (angel). The actress , who rose to fame as Dhaani in Ishq Ka Rang Safed, added one more feather to her cap by venturing into movies with the Anubhav Sinha film Middle Class Love. Although she has tried out both the mediums, Singh refuses to choose a favourite, asserting that all that matters to her is good work.

Eisha Singh also opened up about the generational perception of being stereotyped as a ‘quintessential TV Actor’ by maintaining that it is the concept that matters and not the medium. Talking about the same, the actress said " I consider myself as only an actor and I’m open to all the platforms. I have done a movie and have done show. So, I am not scared of being type casted because I don’t think so that’s going to happen. I’m an actor and I work on various platforms."

Furthermore, the actress asserted that she would never take a break from television or the show, she is working on in order to coin her position in Bollywood. She added, "I really don’t have any plan as of now and I’ve never said that I only want to do films or OTT or television. Whatever good work I’ll get which really makes my heart happy, I’ll do it. So as of now I don’t have any plan, let’s see where life takes me. I’m just taking one step at a time."

Eisha Singh is currently seen on Bekaboo in which she is essaying the role of Shalin Bhanot aka Ranav Raichand’s wife. The latter is a powerful demon, who is out to seek revenge from the ones who killed his beloved brother. Bekaboo, which also stars Chetan Hansraj, Himani Sahani, among others, airs on Colors on weekends, at 9 pm.
