Actor and politician Kirron Kher has been battling multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. In April, Anupam Kher informed her diagnosis on his Twitter handle. Recently, the actress made a rare appearance in her son Sikander Kher's Instagram live.

Sikander did a live session on his Instagram handle on Wednesday night. He began the live session by saying, “I am sitting with the parents and you can get a nice glimpse of Mrs. Kher’s feet.” He then turned the camera towards her feet and asked her to say 'hi' with her feet. To this, Kirron responded with a funny jig and said “hello” in a cheerful tone.

After that, Sikander started moving around the house and focused on his father Anupam Kher who was enjoying soup and asked him in a funny way to be careful and not drop his phone into the soup.

Sikander also thanked the well-wishers of the family and said, “Thank you for all your love, now that you saw her feet. Thank you for constantly asking about her, she should hear this because I am not around all day when you ask, and she is here. Thank you so much, she is doing a lot better.”

In the video, Kirron was resting on a couch and her arm was in a sling. Later, Kirron also asked Sikander to turn the camera towards her and she said, “Thank you everybody for your good wishes and love, thank you very much” with a warm and greeting smile. One thing which became the highlight of the video was when Kirron asked Sikander to get married and said, “you’ll be 41 in a few months”.

After doing the live session, Sikander also posted the same video on his IGTV section. Sharing the video, Sikander captioned it as "Kher Saab and Kirron Ma’am.This one is short and sweet .. a hello from the family with tit bits from me as well .. thank you all for the love you send my mother #KherSaab #KirronMaam."
