With only over a month away from its release, Matt Reeves’ highly-anticipated film The Batman starring Robert Pattinson recently released a clip which is over two-minute long set during a funeral scene in a church that we have seen in the promos.

The clip takes place at a funeral of a law enforcement or city official. A man there, ominously silhouetted against the light above on a gallery above, is spotted by Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson). Suddenly, the proceedings are interrupted by a car that drives through the church and crashes into the building. Once the doors open, we see a previously missing man that has an armed bomb around his neck with a note attached to his body that reads - “to the Batman”.

Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne doesn't utter a word in the clip, but it still gives the intense vibe Matt Reeves and company aimed for with this new franchise builder.

Warner Bros’ The Batman directed and written by Matt Reeves, along with Peter Craig, will hit theaters on March 4, 2022. Matt Reeves’ version of the film will see Robert Pattinson bringing about an entirely new take on the caped-crusader.

Joining Robert Pattinson are Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Kravitz as Catwoman, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Real, Barry Keoghan as Officer Stanley Merkel and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.
