Baseer Ali opens up on playing antagonist Shaurya Luthra on Kundali Bhagya : Bollywood News

Readers would be aware that Kundali Bhagya will soon be taking a 20-year leap as the story will shift focus from Shraddha Arya and Shakti Arora as Preetha and Karan Luthra (post plastic surgery) to their children. With Paras Kalnawat, Sana Sayyad, and Baseer Ali headlining the main star cast, the show is gearing up to present the renewed heirs of the Luthra family. Basheer, who will be making his big television debut with this popular Zee TV show, opened up about playing the next generation antagonist Shaurya Luthra.

In a statement given by Baseer Ali, he described as character as a badass Mama’s boy, who is quite stubborn and would do anything to get what he wants. He said, “Shaurya Luthra is one rich spoiled brat – ek ameer baap ka bigda hua ladka jo kisi ki bhi nahi sunta bas apni maa ki sunta hai (he doesn’t listen to anybody, except his mother). He is also a mama's boy here but also bigda hua, jisko har cheez chahiye toh chahiye woh cheez usko pasand aa gayi ho toh (he is also quite pampered and would do anything to get what he likes and what he wants). Kahin na Kahin mujhe apne personal character ke saath woh comfort zone mila hai with Shaurya (I also feel that my personal character is a little like him which has helped me get comfortable playing Shaurya). Thoda sa badass, thoda sa outlaw, mom ki harr baat sunne wala – all of these is a lot like me. So it will be comfortable for me to get into Shaurya’s vibe and I'm sure I'll be able to present it to you well.”

The latest promo of Kundali Bhagya gives us a sneak peek into the post-leap story of the spoilt and wealthy Shaurya Luthra, an obedient and caring son Rajveer essayed by Paras Kalnawat and the strong-headed, brave, and helpful girl Palki played by Sana Sayyad.
