Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari took to social media on Friday to mark the 6th anniversary of her romantic comedy film, Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film, which starred Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao, was a critical and commercial success.

Tiwari shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the film's set, along with a heartfelt message. "The canvas of human life has many more stories to tell and learn in this lifetime," she wrote. "Gratitude for showering so much of love for #BareillykiBarfi ????. #6yearsofBareillykiBarfi."

Bareilly Ki Barfi starred Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles, with Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa in supporting roles. In the film, the director brought an amazing story decked with regional flavour to it that made it resonate with the wider audience.

Moreover, the film also brought remarkable characters like Bitti Mishra played by Kriti Sanon, and Vidrohi Ji played by Rajkummar Rao. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari won the Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards, and Bollywood Film Journalists Awards for Best Director for the firm.

Apart from this, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has an interesting lineup of films with Bas Karo Aunty and she is also working on some big-scale films.
