Bollywood actor Babil Khan known for his role in Qala, recently shared a touching post on social media dedicated to his late father, the iconic actor Irrfan Khan, and his mother, Sutapa Sikdar. The post featured a nostalgic image of Irrfan and Sutapa seated on a boat against a breathtaking backdrop.
In his emotional tribute, Babil chose a poignant dialogue from Irrfan Khan's film Life of Pi, which graced screens in 2012. The dialogue encapsulated the pain of not having the chance to bid farewell, conveying the message, “..but what always hurts the most, is not taking a moment to say goodbye. I was never able to thank my father for all I learned from him. To tell him, that without his lessons, I would never have survived.”
Babil added a touch of humour and humility to the post by playfully inquiring, “Do I really have to mention the bibliography of this dialogue?” His introspective post resonated deeply with many, drawing heartfelt responses from fellow artists and admirers.

Actress Aaditi Pohankar expressed her admiration, writing, “You are as wonderful as him, and you keep him with us with your smile!” Saiyami Kher left a simple red heart in the comments.
On the work front, Babil Khan was last seen in Friday Night Plan. The actor will be next seen in Yash Raj Films’ maiden web series The Railway Men, a tribute to the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. He's also busy working on some yet-to-be-announced projects.
