As the supernatural thriller continues its strong theatrical run, the actor took to social media to share an emotional note reflecting on his journey, his family, and the memory of his late father, Pandit P. Khurana.

Sharing two videos and two photos, Ayushmann expressed gratitude for the audience’s love and spoke about the deep personal connection he felt while shooting the film. “This family has seen a lot in the last few years. The success of Thamma is like a beautiful divine light. It is a result of collective prayers of the young and old present here,” he wrote.

Recalling a special moment from the film, Ayushmann added, “आयुष्मान भव: — that’s what my father used to say whenever I touched his feet. When Paresh ji said आयुष्मान भव: in the film, it felt like my father, my guardian angel had blessed me.”

The post included a video of Ayushmann offering prayers with his family and another capturing his surprise visit to a theatre where he interacted with fans. The photos featured a still from Thamma showing Paresh Rawal blessing him, and a throwback picture with his late father.

Pandit P. Khurana, a renowned astrologer, passed away on May 19, 2023, after a prolonged illness. Remembering him through the film’s success, Ayushmann wrote, “My family, my late father and the audience has blessed Thamma with love.
