Ayushmann Khurrana has been named the official Fit India Icon by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. The actor is now part of PM Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement, which encourages making fitness a regular part of daily life in India and promoting physical well-being as an important aspect of our lifestyle.
Ayushmann Khurrana was officially named the Fit Icon at the Fit India Movement’s inaugural ceremony in Delhi on Sunday where he was felicitated by the Union Minister.
The Bollywood star, known for his meaningful roles and strong connection with the youth, aims to inspire Indians to embrace fitness with enthusiasm and commitment, encouraging people from all backgrounds to focus on their health and well-being.
The Fit India Movement aims to promote fitness through various initiatives and events. It focuses on making fitness easy, fun, and accessible by showing simple ways to stay active in daily life. The movement also works to raise awareness about the benefits of physical activity and encourage people to stay active. Additionally, it seeks to revive and promote traditional Indian sports, highlighting our cultural heritage while supporting physical fitness.
Ayushmann Khurrana said, “When your health is good, the challenges in life—whether personal or professional—seem manageable. But when your health is compromised, it becomes the only challenge that matters. Good health empowers us to do anything.
