Ayushmann Khurrana pens down a poem celebrating Team India’s win at Champions Trophy finals : Bollywood News

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana, known to be a huge cricket buff, has often showcased his support towards the country’s team for all matches - be it domestic or international. He, obviously, couldn't keep calm on Instagram on March 9 as India played against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 finals. While it was a nail-biting match, the team emerged victorious leaving the entire country enthralled.

On Monday afternoon, celebrating this glorious win, Ayushmann Khurrana took to Instagram and posted a video talking about how he can’t get over India’s win in the finals. Sporting the Indian cricket jersey in blue along with a blue heart emoji and ‘Indiaaa’ in the caption, he recited a poem he penned down for Team India’s win, signature Ayushmann style.

Meanwhile, the actor-singer also posted multiple stories over the course of Sunday, watching the match and continuously cheering for Team India. Even while travelling for a shoot, the actor couldn't stop watching this nerve-wracking match, moments of which were added on his Instagram stories. Bringing together the entire set, while he was shooting for his upcoming film Thama, he was seen enjoying the last couple of overs of the finale match together.

In a video shared on Instagram by the actor, Ayushmann could be seen glued to the screen, nervously watching the final moments of the India vs New Zealand match. As victory was sealed, he broke into cheers, with the rest of the crew joining in. “Shoot ruk jaati hai jab India jeet jaata hai!", he captioned the post, suggesting that the team paused the film’s shooting to witness India’s winning moment.

Coming to the film he is currently shooting, Thama is a key addition to the Maddock supernatural horror-comedy universe and also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed Aditya Sarpotdar, the film is expected to revolve around vampires.
