StarPlus' show Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has gained a loyal fan following with the audiences always rooting for their favourite couple Sai and Virat aka Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt. Finally, the moment arrived where the #SaiRat shippers will get to witness the union of Sai and Virat. But the sad news is that they won’t be able to enjoy it for long since the show is all set to take a massive leap. With Ayesha and Neil quitting this popular prime time show, we hear that the onscreen couple is keen on taking back some memories and memorabilia from the show.
The audience loved the chemistry, nok-jhok, and bond that Sai and Virat shared in the show. It has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions for them since their marriage and they have witnessed so much love, drama, and emotions. Ayesha Singh and Neil Bhatt have both become household names due to the show. Talking about her exit and expressing her gratitude towards the audiences, Ayesha Singh said," It has been a beautiful and enchanting journey for Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. There are moments that I'll cherish for life and keep locked in my heart.”
She further opened up about a special memento she will be taking back with her as a memory of Sai. She continued, “Love is something I'll take back from my journey, but my most precious memory would be Sai's doctor's coat, which I'll take back home with me as it was a gift from Virat to Sai. Sai, as a character in itself, is filled with a bundle of emotions ranging from being straightforward to being the girl next door, a doting wife, and a mother who puts her family before others. One more special quality of Sai that I would want to learn is how she smiles even during her struggles. But there is a twist here as well: Ayesha is totally opposite to Sai when it comes to real life. I am a prankster on the sets and have pranked all my co-actors".
Neil Bhatt, aka Virat, too revealed about his special cop uniform aka Vardi that he will be taking back home adding," Virat and Vardi go hand in hand. This is the third time that I have donned the attire and character of a cop. I feel pride to wear the vardi and jitters at the same time. Virat's vardi is a very important part of Neil's life, and this is the souvenir I'll take back with me from the show. It is something I'll always treasure for life. Vardi depicts honesty and honour. Vardi has been an important part as it has helped to mould the character of Virat. I am grateful to the audience for showering love on my character Virat and garner the same amount of love that we have received to the new generation who will be a part of the show."
Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin airs on Star Plus at 8 p.m. from Monday to Sunday. After the leap, Shakti Arora, Bhavika Sharma, and Sumit Singh will be taking over the show as the new leads. Bhavika will be essaying the role of Savi, Virat and Sai’s daughter.
