Amidst the hoopla surrounding Pathaan and the recently released song ‘Besharam Rang’ featuring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan decided to catch up with his fans where he discussed details about his forthcoming film and also about his personal life. While fans were eager to ask him about his life, his kids, one question about his friend Salman Khan was obviously a must. So when he was asked about a favourite film of his colleague – friend, the actor’s reply was immediate and it is a film that we all love!
The two superstars of Bollywood and their friendship have always garnered immense media attention. So it didn’t come as a surprise when a fan was eager to find out about Shah Rukh Khan and his opinion on Salman Khan films. So, he quizzed the superstar during the #AskSRK Q&A session asking, “Your favorite movie of @beingsalmankhan? #AskSRK”. The actor immediately responded, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”.

Readers would recall that Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), directed by Kabir Khan, also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan as the leading lady along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal and unique role. The film featured a child (Harshali Malhotra) from Pakistan who gets lost in India and how Salman Khan goes through immense hardships to help her reunite with her family. The film had touched an emotional cord and went on to become one of the highest grossers of the superstar.
On the other hand, interestingly, fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will soon be getting to witness the superstars on the big screen together. Salman is expected to be a part of Pathaan, in which he will be seen in the role of Tiger, his popular spy character. Both Pathaan and Tiger are expected to feature the two superstars as spies and they will be a part of the spy-universe created by Yash Raj Films. The SRK film also stars Deepika Padukone along with John Abraham playing the antagonist. The Siddharth Anand directorial will release on January 25, 2023.
