Dream Girl 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit movie, recently released a naughty fun video asset in which Ayushmann Khurrana, who plays the role of Karam and Pooja, talks to Pathaan to announce the release date of the film. Since the video is out it has already garnered a lot of attention. It not only won the hearts of Millions of her fans but it seems like Shah Rukh Khan has shown love for the film by talking about it during his recent #AskSRK session.
On Valentine’s Day, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a special #AskSRK session for his fans wherein he once again answered a barrage of questions that were thrown towards him. During the same, one of the users referred to the release date announcement teaser of Dream Girl 2. “@iamsrk sir Pooja (ayushman khurana) se valentine day enjoy karne ja rhe ho ki nhi... The superstar was quick to respond. Expressing his excitement for the film along with wishing Ayushmann all the best, he added, “Wish Ayushman the best for all his work and life. Dreamgirl looks very interesting." The leading man, Ayushmann too took to the platform and posted, “Shah Sir” along with folded hands and heart emojis.

Dream Girl, which was released in 2019, was a huge hit and garnered critical acclaim for its performances, storyline, and comedy. The film featured Ayushmann Khurrana in the role of Pooja, a sexy tele-talker who becomes popular for her voice. From cross-dressing to gender identity, the film dealt with these sensitive subjects subtly and with a humorous twist.
Dream Girl 2 promises to be just as entertaining, with Ayushmann Khurrana reprising his role as Pooja and bringing his signature humor and charisma to the screen once again. Also co-starring Ananya Panday, the comedy entertainer Dream Girl 2 will be directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor. The film is set to hit theaters on July 7, 2023.
