After spending 28 long days at the hospital, legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar returned home a day back, from Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital. Diagnosed with Pneumonia, she spent a montn under intense medical supervision and didn't forget to thank the medical team for all their care. Fans and well-wishers are relieved that she has recovered and is doing fine now.
Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with a newspaper, sister Asha Bhosle said she was overjoyed as her elder sister came home. Bhosle, who has been rehearsing with a major upcoming concert in the city, is going to juggle between her practice sessions and her routine visits to the sister. Mentioning that Lata is doing hale and hearty, she shared how she looked at her and remembered a bunch of timeless songs that she sang. As she came home, the entire family was present at her Peddar Road residence to welcome her.
A picture of the hospital nurses posing with Lata has also taken over the internet. Seated on a wheelchair, the singer looks fine and ready to get back home!
Lata also celebrated her 90th birthday in September and was honoured with the Daughter of the Nation title by the Government of India.
