Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has confirmed that he is engaged to his longtime partner Gabriella Demetriades, opening up candidly about their relationship and love story during a recent appearance on Rhea Chakraborty’s Chapter 2 podcast. The Dhurandhar actor revealed their engagement in a relaxed and spontaneous way, leaving listeners surprised with the personal announcement.
In a teaser from the podcast, Gabriella spoke about their status, saying, “We’re not married now, but who knows?” To this, Rampal interjected cheerfully, “We are engaged! We just broke it on your show,” much to the host’s amusement.
The couple, who have been together for over six years, share a warm family life and are parents to two sons, Arik and Ariv. Gabriella reflected on how becoming a parent has changed her view on love and acceptance, stating, “Your love comes with conditions. It’s like if a person behaves this way, then get my approval or love. But when you have a child, you can’t do that, right?”
In a candid and humorous recollection of how their relationship began, Rampal admitted his initial attraction to Gabriella, saying, “I went after her because she was hot, then I realised there is a little more to it than just the hotness.” His light-hearted comment underlined the evolution of their bond from physical attraction to deep companionship.
Before his relationship with Gabriella, Rampal was married to model Mehr Jesia, with whom he shares two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra. Rampal’s film Dhurandhar, in which he plays Major Iqbal, has also been enjoying commercial success, further marking an eventful period in both his personal and professional life.
