A day after the much-anticipated release of Singham Again, Arjun Kapoor, who portrays the villain in the film, took to social media to share his heartfelt gratitude for the audience's warm reception for his performance. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, has already made waves in theaters, and Kapoor’s role as Danger Lanka has captivated viewers.
Arjun Kapoor Pens A Grateful Acknowledgment
In his note, Arjun Kapoor reflected on the journey leading up to the film's release. He stated, “Fifteen months ago, @itsrohitshetty sir chose me for this incredible role, and from that moment, I dedicated myself to ensuring I wouldn’t disappoint him, the fans of Singham or my audience. Today, your love has validated me as Danger Lanka! I am endlessly thankful for your support; your words resonate deeper than I can express."
He spoke about the transformative nature of his role, saying, “The BOY you fell in love with in Ishaqzaade has grown into the MAN whose manic energy and madness you have embraced in Singham Again. Your belief in me means the world and your encouragement fuels my passion. Thank you for this amazing journey.”

It is worth mentioning here that before the release, Arjun Kapoor sought blessings by walking barefoot to the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. Clad in traditional ivory attire, he participated in rituals and shared videos of his experience, which quickly circulated on social media.
Reflecting on his preparation for the role of Danger Lanka, Kapoor revealed that he spent nearly a year away from the limelight to fully immerse himself in the character. “I had the biggest film of the industry to shoot and I didn't want to be distracted. Sometimes when you go missing for a few days, or become lowkey, people may remember you and view you in a new light,” he noted.
Singham Again marks the third installment in the popular Singham franchise, featuring a star-studded cast. Alongside Arjun Kapoor, the film includes Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan as Singham's wife Avni, Deepika Padukone as police officer Shakti Shetty, and notable performances by Ravi Kishan, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff. The film presents a contemporary take on the Ramayana and was released in time for Diwali celebrations.
