Anushka Sharma makes her Cannes red carpet debut; husband Virat Kohli has a ‘hearty’ reaction : Bollywood News

The much-awaited debut of popular Bollywood star Anushka Sharma happened last evening on the red carpet of Festival De Cannes 2023. While the popular film festival in the French Riviera is known for its fashion statements and grandeur, the NH10 actress made her first appearance at the festival as the brand ambassador for the popular cosmetics, skincare, and haircare brand L’Oreal Paris along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari who also attended the festival as a part of their association with the same brand.

Anushka Sharma walked the Cannes red carpet with L’Oreal ambassadors Eva Longoria and Andie MacDowell for the premiere of the Ken Loach film The Oak. opted for a minimalistic but elegant look for her first Cannes 2023 appearance and was seen in a Richard Queen cream colour off shoulder ensemble with ruffled bodice and intricate embroidery work. The body fit gown gave her sensuous yet elegant and graceful silhouette as she paired it up with very few accessories and a twisted knot bun. The actress posted a lot of photos from her red-carpet event and her husband-cricketer Virat Kohli posted his reaction on it. In the first set of photos, Virat reacted to it by dropping heart eyes and heart emojis, showering his love on his wife’s look.

Besides him, many other actresses posted their comments. Pooja Hegde said, “Love” and added several clap emojis whereas Dia Mirza added, “Uffff <3” along with a fire emoji. New mother Gauahar Khan dropped a comment saying, “Love the look”. Alia Bhatt too commented on one of the posts adding, “Stunning You are”. Preity Zinta, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, were among the few who dropped heart emojis.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma is gearing up for the release of Chakda Xpress on Netflix, which is a biopic based on the life of female cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
