It's a big day for cricketer Virat Kohli who scored his 49th ODI century today at Eden Gardens against South Africa in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup. Not only that, he scored this milestone on his 35th birthday. Celebrating this double win is none other than his wife, actress Anushka Sharma. She took to her Instagram on Sunday after Virat's huge milestone.

This was Virat Kohli's 79th international century and he reached the milestone in the 49th over against South Africa as Kagiso Rabada bowled the over. Anushka shared a photo from the match and simply wrote, "Apne birthday pe khud ko present 100 (He gave himself a present on his birthday 100)."

Earlier in the day, Anushka Sharma shared three posts on her Instagram one of which was a news clipping about Virat being the only bowler to take a wicket on a ‘zeroth’ T20I delivery. She wrote, “He is literally EXCEPTIONAL in every role in his life! But somehow continues to add more feathers to his glorious hat. I love YOUUU through this life and beyond and endlessly so, in every shape, form, through it all, whatever it may be so.”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in 2017 in Italy. The couple welcomed their first child, their daughter Vamika in 2021.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in the film Chakda Xpress. She will essay the role of former woman cricketer of India Jhulan Goswami and the project will be streaming on Netflix.
