Rupali Ganguly has become a household name as Anupama, which airs on Star Plus and wherein she essays the titular role. The show, which started in 2020 amidst the pandemic, has now reached immense heights and has been one of the top TRP-rated shows for months together. Along with her character, the male lead Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj has also been receiving a lot of love from the audience.

Talking about the appreciation she received from the audience, Rupali Ganguly expressed gratitude towards fans, saying, “Since the time Anupama has aired, it has been number one on the TRP charts. I feel blessed when I hear fans saying ‘Hum Rahe Yaa Naa Rahe, Anupama Chalta Rahe’. The love that I receive from audience makes me feel inspired and motivated to approach each new day with optimism and zeal.” She further spoke about the popularity of the show saying, “Instead of calling me by my real name, people often refer to me as Anupama, which makes me feel proud. It is because of Anupama that I have received so much admiration from the audience. Fans have loved the chemistry of Anuj and Anupama”.

She recalled the time when she was approached for the show saying, “I was on a maternity break due to which I was away from work, but when Anupama came my way, I decided to give it a chance and here I am. My journey as Anupama has been an adventurous ride.”

Anupama is an Indian Hindi-language television drama series which airs on Star Plus. Produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director's Kut Productions, the show has Gaurav Khanna as the male lead Anuj, along with Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Ashish Mehrotra, Ashlesha Sawant, Chhavi Pandey, Nidhi Shah, among others playing pivotal roles.
